Anyone who has a Reader’s Card can use the Library. LIBIS Reader’s Card, acquired at any other library or ordered online from www.ibiblioteka.lt, is also valid at KCPL. LIBIS Reader’s Card is valid for an unlimited period of time and is free of charge. An identity document with a picture and an identification number is required for the registration.

Those who do not own LIBIS Reader’s Card can participate in events or trainings, visit exhibitions, as well as use Public Internet access and wireless Internet, read daily press.

There are two ways to order publications: by visiting the library and via Internet. There are three ways to extend the use of borrowed publications (exception – high demand publications): in person at the library, via phone or e-mail by contacting the department that lent the publication, via Internet before their due date. You can return any borrowed publication at any time by using the self-check in station located at the service entrance.
