Is there a fine charged for not returning publications at the required time during the quarantine period?
No fine is charged during the quarantine period.
How to extend the term of use of publications?

Books can also be extended in the LIBIS electronic catalog by logging in with a reader's card number and password.
Is it possible to borrow publications to read at home?
Publications are not issued to read at home during quarantine.
How (where) to return borrowed books?
It is not necessary to return the books during the quarantine - you will return them after the end of the quarantine without any fine for this period. In case of great need, you can return the books with a 24-hour self-service device (library service entrance, Radastų str. 2).
Why does after logging in to LIBIS it shows that the book is not returned?
Returns will be entered into the system and displayed after quarantine.
Can KCPL databases be accessed remotely?
Yes, it can. In the library‘s electronic resources you will find free open access databases, subscribed and time-limited databases, which can be accessed by readers registered by KCPL from home by simply writing an e-mail to [email protected].
What if I booked a book but can't take it back due to quarantine?
You can pick up your reserved books at the end of the quarantine period. The queue of currently reserved publications has been suspended to ensure the right order of the reservations.
I received a notification regarding the return and / or prolongation of books. What to do?
Prolongation and return notifications are generated automatically. During quarantine, you may not respond to them, in case of doubt you can call (8 37) 324 259 or write an e-mail to [email protected]
