Partners: Piekary Slaskie Municipal Public Library (Poland) and the historians of Vytautas the Great War Museum.
Short summary: The project is based on Lithuanian and Polish youth's wish to learn about the 1863 uprising in Kaunas and the Kaunas region which includes visiting the locations of the uprising, communicating, painting, and organising a poetry night.
The participants visited the execution site of the priest Antanas Mackevičius, the place of insurgents' imprisonment, and Vytautas the Great War Museum in Kaunas, and the 1863 uprising museum in Paberžė and other sites of uprising in the Kaunas region. The participants painted the panorama of the uprising during the closing event.
